Bought this model helmet for my daughter a few years ago and she loved it so when the padding started getting old we ordered another one as a replacement. Rawlings changed the padding on the newer model and it is a horrible helmet now. The padding comes all the way to the end of the helmet and interferes with the fit of back plate. At first I thought we may have gotten a bad one so I drove to a local sporting goods store and looked at another and it was just as bad. In fact, the padding on that one was already torn from the back plate hitting it. We returned this and ate the return shipping and now leaning toward an Easton Surge or Mizuno Samuri.
Son is very pleased with this helmet. Easy to remove in games when needed and he said it fits great. Very pleased with design of this product.
