My son, age 16, saved his own money to purchase this gear. He hated playing baseball with his friends and they couldn't play a "real" game because they were afraid that somebody would get hit with the ball. The gear seems to be made to last; it's not junk. I do wish that a storage bag came with it though because my son keeps it in the garage and it is always full of dirt. I would definitely recommend this product from this buyer!
I bought this gear for my 13 year old son so he could keep it for a few years.... I would say 15 years is right on the money as far as size but we made it work for him. I dont know why anyone would pay more and buy anything else. This gear is great... well made.. and nice looking.
